Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data may be processed when visiting dogtruck.eu or contacting the operator by email.

Language notice

German legal text is authoritative

This English version is provided for accessibility and information. In the event of differences or ambiguities, the German privacy policy is authoritative.

1. Controller

Josef Lehner

Hohlweggasse 23
1030 Vienna
Austria

Privacy enquiries are accepted by email only.

2. Hosting and server log files

Technical provision of the website

This website is hosted by:

World4You Internet Services GmbH
Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, BT3
4020 Linz
Austria

When the website is accessed, server log files may process information including the IP address, date and time, requested address, transferred data volume, HTTP status, referrer address, browser and operating-system details.

The processing is necessary to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors, to defend against attacks and to analyse technical faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure operation of this private website.

According to information published by World4You, web server log files are generally retained for two weeks. Longer retention may be necessary in individual cases where security incidents need to be investigated or legal obligations must be met.

3. Cookies, analytics and local storage

No tracking

dogtruck.eu currently uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services and does not set cookies through its own website.

The selected light or dark appearance is stored only in the browser's local storage under the key software-fundgrube-theme. This preference remains on the device and is not transmitted to dogtruck.eu. It can be removed at any time by deleting the website data in the browser.

No cookie consent banner is planned for as long as no services requiring consent are added.

4. Contact by email

Processing incoming messages

When contact is made by email, the data supplied by the sender is processed. This may include the email address, name, technical message metadata, message text and any attachments supplied voluntarily.

The data is processed in order to handle and answer the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, for enquiries relating to a possible contractual relationship, additionally Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Messages are deleted when they are no longer required for processing, unless statutory retention or evidential obligations prevent deletion.

The email address is not delivered as plain text on this website. It is assembled in the browser only after a deliberate user action. This reduces simple automated address harvesting but does not provide absolute protection.

5. External links

Visiting other websites

The software cards and some information sections contain links to external websites. A connection to the respective provider is established only after such a link is clicked. The provider may then process data including the IP address, time, referrer and browser information. The privacy information of the external provider applies to this processing.

6. Recipients and data transfers

Who may receive data

World4You may process personal data as a technical service provider in connection with hosting. Data is otherwise disclosed only where required by law, necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or covered by valid consent.

dogtruck.eu itself does not actively transfer visitor data to analytics or advertising providers. When an external link is opened, the visited website determines its own data processing.

7. Rights of data subjects

Access, rectification and further rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent that has been given may be withdrawn with effect for the future.

An email to the controller named above is sufficient to exercise these rights. Suitable proof of identity may be required to prevent unauthorised disclosure.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

Austrian Data Protection Authority

Anyone who believes that personal data is being processed in breach of data-protection law may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority:

Austrian Data Protection Authority
Barichgasse 40–42
1030 Vienna
Austria
Data Protection Authority website
9. Security and updates

Protecting the connection

The website is intended to be provided exclusively through an encrypted HTTPS connection. Technical and organisational measures are used as appropriate to the scope and risk of processing.

This privacy policy will be updated when functions, services or legal requirements change. The version published on this website at the relevant time is authoritative.
